Bake and Give Project

Bake and give.

I think it's what I was made for.  Because I love to bake and I love to give.

The other day I had a thought.  An intense thought.  A thought that right away put doubt into my senses.  A thought that overcame doubt when I looked at those around me.

Is this a little deep for a baking blog??

Ahhhh...a sparkly, pretty cupcake.  That's more like it, right?

Okay, so bake...I mean back..... to my thought....

It is new.  Fresh.  In the works in my mind.

I am going to start The Bake and Give Project.

This is what I envision:

I will bake and sell cupcakes and cookies.  I will give 100% of the profits to people that are in need.

How did I come up with this crazy idea? 

There are so many people in need.  I hear about them and I want to help.

I am blessed to be able to do what I love, but there is only so much one person can do on their own.

So you can help, too.

Bake+ buy= Give=helping someone in need=doing something good.

It's just in the beginning stages, but I know it can be something great.

These are the details I have so far in my thoughts....

When you buy, you will recieve a card stating who your purchase is helping.

I will have ten regular flavors and three seasonal flavors of cupcakes and cookies.

Cupcakes will be available in the Minneapolis area.  Cookies will be able to be shipped to the US.

 

Whew!  I will keep you posted as I test and create flavors and keep The Bake and Give Project going!
